We had a great time at the zoo! We saw lots of different animals and we went to the zoo school where we had the opportunity to hold a cockroach, a stick insect and a lizard.

In the Foundation stage we know that the World Cup is all over now, but we thought you may want some pictures of us all dressed up in England's colours for the 'walk to school'.

This gallery is dedicated to Year 5's recent trip to Hothersall Lodge. 

If parents of year 5 children would like a copy of the full resolution photographs, we can burn them on to a CD for you.  If you would like us to do this for you, please send £2.50 with a note of your name and your child's name.  Please put "Hothersall Lodge Photos" on the envelope.  The slide show takes a while to load, please be patient. 

Note from the webmaster: I am sorry that it is not possible to put the high resolution photographs on the website due to the cost of hosting and data transfer.  The only way to get the high resolution pictures is to buy the CD from school.  

In the Foundation Stage we have been having lots of fun in the sun in the 'Rainforest' (the outside area at the back of our classrooms). We have been painting, building towers with the big bricks and lots of other fun things!

In the Foundation Stage we have been experimenting with our new friends the 'Bee-Bots'. We can make them go in different directions by programming them to move in different ways. We have to press the arrows to make them move!
